The Germany international Emre Can has been left out of Liverpool’s squad which takes on West Brom in their last game of the Premier League season.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man recently returned from an ankle injury he sustained during his sides 4-3 win over Borussia Dortmund.
Can returned from injury sooner than expected in the 3-0 victory over Villarreal in the Europa League semi-final second-leg tie earlier this month.
Liverpool side have little to play for going into the final game of the season. The Red’s are in eight place with 59 points and can move into seventh place with a win.
The Red’s will however have one eye on the upcoming Europa League final agaisnt Sevilla in Basel.
