West Ham loan transfer Gokhan Tore will have pleased Hammers fans with his first official club interview.
Tore revealed that there is no reason why West Ham cannot win the Premier League considering what Leicester City achieved last season.
“Everyone wants to win the Premier League. Leicester did it last season and have showed that anything is possible in football,” Tore told the official West Ham website.
Tore also underlined that he wants to win trophies at West Ham which could be an early hint that he wants to make his loan stay permanent.
The Hammers do of course have a £10 million buyout clause option to sign Tore on a permanent deal which runs until the end of the season.
“Why can’t we do the same? Of course I want to win trophies as well, but the most important thing is that everyone works hard together,” he added.
The 24-year-old also revealed that playing in the new stadium could help the Hammers chance of winning silverware and moving up ‘another level.
“West Ham are a big Club and the fans and players are looking forward to playing in the new Stadium. It can help us move onto another level,” he said.
Tore will not get the chance to play in Hammers traditional home, Upton Park as the club will play in the New Stadium next season.
