Besiktas are leading the race to sign the in-demand Algeria international Yacine Brahimi.
The FC Porto star will be able to hold talks with clubs from January 1 onwards as his contract with the Portuguese giants expires next summer.
According to the Turkish sports outlet Fotospor, Besiktas, West Ham United, Lyon, Marseille and Lazio are all in the race to sign the flamboyant forward.
Per the source, Besiktas are leading the race to sign the 28-year-old after establishing communications with the player’s representatives earlier this year.
The Black Eagles are hoping to strike a deal with the player in January and complete the signing at the end of the season for free.

However, according to Football.London, Porto are hoping to sell Brahimi in January and have significantly lowered their £26 million asking price in a bid to cash in before losing the player for free.
Brahimi has provided one assist and scored three goals in 11 appearances for FC Porto this season.
