West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has revealed that he does not expect a repeat of the fan trouble that occurred last time his side took on Chelsea.

There were clashes between rival fans at the London stadium during the last derby against Chelsea when seats, coins and bottles were thrown.

Premier League leaders Chelsea take on West Ham once again on Monday night but Bilic does not expect a repeat of the troubles.

The former Besiktas manager believes that West Ham have took measures to ensure that crowd violence does not take place at the scale it did before.

West Ham have improved crowd segregation as well as policing and stewarding which have resulted in the ugly scenes seen that night greatly reduced.

“It is not that I think that, it is definitely the truth,” he was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

“I have had monthly meetings with (vice chairman) Baroness Brady, we have talked a lot about that and I know how much effort, through her of course, has been put in solving those problems.

“She or we have done it so I am not expecting (a repeat).

“Of course there could be individual things that may happen but the club has done a really great job regarding that, they have approached it since that game really seriously.”

West Ham and Chelsea are bitter London rivals, games in the past have been marred with crowd trouble.

Hammers loanee Gokhan Tore remains sidelined with a knee injury and will not feature against his former side Chelsea.

The East London outfit are currently in 9th place on 33 points after 26 games, Chelsea meanwhile are 1st and 10 points ahead of their nearest rival Tottenham.
