West Ham expected to fire Slaven Bilic, Turkey return could be on the cards

West Ham are expected to fire Slaven Bilic according to reports in Turkey.

The East London based outfit are currently 18th having picked up just four points from their first six games.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik claim that Bilic’s days at the Hammers are numbered.

Per the source, Trabzonspor are preparing a move for the Croatian manager in the advent that he is sacked.

The Black Sea Storm are considering firing current head coach Ersun Yanal following a disappointing start to the season.

Trabzonspor suffered a shock 4-3 defeat against Alanyaspor over the weekend despite taking a three goal lead.

Bilic is no stranger to managing in Turkey. The current West Ham boss coached Besiktas for two seasons before moving to the Premier League.

The Black Eagles did not win any titles under the stewardship of Bilic but he is credited with laying the foundations to the current team that won back to back league championships.

Besiktas are currently first in the Champions League Group G and take on Red Bull Leipzig this evening in Istanbul.
