West Ham United have been linked with a surprise move for Turkey international midfielder Okay Yokuslu.
Yokuslu is a defensive midfield playmaker who currently plays for Super Lig giants Trabzonspor.
Surprisingly, the transfer rumour does not derive from a Turkish outlet but instead comes from Spain. According to the popular Spanish publication AS, West Ham are locked in a race with Sevilla for Yokuslu’s signature.
Per the source, the La Liga side view Yokuslu as a replacement for Steven Nzonzi who is expected to leave this summer.

West Ham United are also in the market for a new defensive midfielder as a long-term replacement for the ageing Mark Noble.
Yokuslu has been in impressive form for Trabzonspor this season and AS has dubbed the 23-year-old as the new ‘the new Busquets.’
The report goes onto state that Trabzonspor will be willing to offload the midfielder for just €7 million this summer.
West Ham are back in action this weekend when they take on Burnley FC in the Premier League.
