West Ham, Newcastle & Spurs prepare €10m bid for Demba Ba [divider]

West Ham, Newcastle and Tottenham are preparing offers reported to be in the region of €10 million for Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba according to NTV Spor.

The Senegalese international joined the Black Eagles from Chelsea for €6 million this summer.

Ba has already scored 10 goals and provided three assists in 14 games for the Turkish giants since his arrival.

The powerful striker scored against Tottenham in the Europa League at White Hart Lane.

Former Spurs manager Tim Sherwood was so impressed with Ba’s performance that he said, “‘Demba Ba should be at Tottenham… would have have been a great signing.”

Ba also caused Arsenal problems in the Black Eagles UEFA Champions League play-off tie which the Gunners narrowly won 1-0 on aggregate.

Ba scored 50 goals during his stint in England. Ba played for West Ham, Newcastle and Chelsea before joining Beşiktaş.

 

The 29-year-old became the first Beşiktaş player to score seven UEFA competition goals in one season following his brace against Partizan.
