West Ham receive major transfer boost as agent gives Porto star a 0% chance of moving to Istanbul

West Ham United have received a major boost in the race to sign Algeria international star Yacine Brahimi.

Brahimi – who currently plays for FC Porto – has been closely linked with a move away from the Portuguese league this summer.

According to the Portuguese outlet O Jogo, West Ham United sent scouts to monitor Brahimi however, they are expected to face major competition from Roma, Sevilla and Everton.

Meanwhile, Brahimi’s agent has ruled out any chance of his client making the move to Turkey this summer.

“There remains one year of contract for Brahimi with FC Porto,” Alonso was quoted as saying by French outlet Le Buteur.

“At the moment, I can tell you that it is impossible to see the player join the Turkish championship. There is 0% [chance] that happens. Coming to Turkey is not part of the player’s career plan.”

West Ham United are back in action against relegation battlers Stoke City in the Premier Leauge this weekend. David Moyes’ side knows a win will all but secure their Premier League status next season.

Brahimi has registered ten assists and ten goals in 43 appearances for Porto in all competitions this season.
