Besiktas are the second Turkish club to be linked with a move for West Ham United star striker Andy Carroll.

Yesterday we reported that Fenerbahce had been offered the opportunity to sign Caroll for free this summer. However, the Yellow Canaries turned down the offer due to Carroll’s injury record.

Meanwhile, The Turkish outlet Fanatik has claimed that Besiktas are weighing up an option for the England international.

Per the source, Caroll’s agent Mark Curtis has been in talks with Besiktas officials. Curtis has stated that the Black Eagles can loan Caroll this summer and sign him on a free at the end of the season.

Besiktas boss Senol Gunes will make a decision on whether or not to pursue Caroll in the coming days.
