West Ham United are among several European clubs looking to sign Galatasaray defender Marcao this summer.
A source close to the Istanbul giants has revealed to Turkish-Football that the Hammers scouts have been monitoring Marcao in recent weeks.
Per the source, Fiorentina and Espanyol officials have also been keeping tabs on the Brazilian centre-back.

Marcao has caught the attention of scouts following a string of impressive performances for Galatasaray this season.
The Lions have the best defensive record in the league and are unbeaten in 2020.
The 23-year-old is known for his tough tackling and ability on the ball.
Marcao has a little over two years remaining on his contract with Galatasaray.
The Lions are preparing a new contract offer for the Brazilian defender, however, according to sources from the club, they are prepared to sell him for the right price.
Galatasaray are back in action this weekend when they take on their Istanbul rivals Besiktas at the TT Arena.
