Tottenham and West Ham are interested in Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football.

The Turkey international has been scouted by the Premier League sides over the course of the season.

Yokuşlu has attracted widespread interest from clubs across Europe since joining Celta on an €8m move from Trabzonspor last summer.

The 25-year-old settled in quickly to the Spanish top flight establishing himself as a first team star.

The 1.91m tall midfielder was awarded two player of the month awards – January and
February – playing an important role in helping Celta avoid relegation.

The Célticos are currently 17th in the league one spot above the drop zone but they cannot be relegated.

Yokuslu is a hard-working central midfielder who likes to get stuck in but he is not all brawn.

The former Trabzonspor man has impressive technical and dribbling ability for a player of his stature. His passing has also developed since joining the La Liga side.

Yokuslu has another four-years remaining on his contract but Celta could be forced to consider offers to raise funds after a poor league finish.

The powerful midfielder was linked with a Premier League move last summer after a standout campaign at Trabzonspor.

The midfielder was one of the best performing players in the league over the 2017-18 campaign.

Yokuslu was statistically the fifth best player in the league according to Whoscored.

Yokuslu has 21 international caps for Turkey and has been an important first choice player for the national team side since 2017.

As a result he would be eligible for a work permit in the Premier League as he has featured in 75 percent of games for the Crescent-Stars over the past two years.

The midfielder has scored two goals in 29 appearances for Celta in the league this term.
