West Ham unhappy with Slaven Bilic’s summer signing who made just eight appearances following €3m loan move

Slaven Bilic will have taken a deep breath following West Ham United’s win over Tottenham.

The Guardian recently reported that Bilic’s place at West Ham hinged on the last two home games. The Croatian tactician passed the first test with flying colours following a 1-0 win over rivals Spurs.

The Hammers next home game is against Liverpool next weekend.

However, it hasn’t just been results concerning the West Ham board. Bilic’s summer signings have raised concerns.

Per the source the Hammers hierarchy are still concerned by the loan transfer of Gokhan Tore. The Turkey international joined West Ham from Besiktas on a season-long loan for €3 million (BBC).

Bilic had a major say in Tore’s transfer to the club but the move has not paid off.

Tore failed to settle in and suffered a season-ending injury following a string of disappointing performances.

The 25-year-old provided one assist in eight appearances for West Ham this season. Tore is expected to return to Besiktas at the end of his loan spell.
