West Ham transfer news: Hammers scout in-demand Sevilla target during midweek 2-2 draw

West Ham United scouts were present during Turkey’s clash with Montenegro on Tuesday evening.

The Cresent Stars were held to a 2-2 draw despite going 2-0 up in the first half.

A source within the Turkish FA has revealed to Turkish-Football.com that scouts from both West Ham United and Sevilla were present during the international friendly to monitor Okay Yokuslu.

West Ham are among several clubs tracking the defensive midfielder who has been one of the stars of the Turkish Super Lig this season.

Turkish-Football.com recently reported that West Brom are also interested in Yokuslu and that they have established contact with the 25-year-old’s representatives.

Per the source, Trabzonspor have set a €8 million price tag on the Turkey international, Yokuslu has nine goals and five assists in 98 appearances for Trabzonspor.

West Ham are back in action this weekend when they take on Southampton in the Premier League.

Trabzonspor meanwhile take on their rivals Galatasaray at the Turk Telekom stadium.
