Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has been left out of Unai Emery’s squad which will take on West Ham United today.
The clash takes place at the London stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 12:30 (GMT).
Ozil looked set for a return to first team football after recovering from his injury. The 30-year-old took to social media yesterday to confirm that he had participated in first-team training this week.
The former Germany international’s future at the north London based club has been called into question after falling out of favor with manager Unai Emery. Ozil has also struggled with injuries this season.
Arsenal have registered back to back victories and can make it three in a row with a win over the Hammers today.
West Ham meanwhile have picked up just one point from their last two Premier League games.
