West Ham United have not given up hopes of signing Fenerbahce star midfielder, Josef de Souza.

The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Istanbul based club after failing to sign a new contract.

De Souza has 12 months remaining on his current deal which means Fenerbahce will need to sell him this summer or risk losing him for free next year.

According to the Turkish outlet AMK, West Ham recently has a €12 million bid for De Souza rejected.

However, the Istanbul giants are now prepared to allow the midfielder to leave for €10 million after contract talks broke down.

Fenerbahce are being monitored by UEFA for Financial Fair Play this season and are keen to reduce their overall wage bill.

Per the source, both Wolves and Watford are also interested in the 29-year-old.

Josef de Souza provided two assists and scored four goals in 41 appearances for Fenerbahce last season.
