‘What are they smoking at the Emirates?’ – Arsenal fans rage at decision to sell Ospina for £3m on social media

Fenerbahce struck a deal with Arsenal over the transfer of David Ospina yesterday.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik report that the Gunners have accepted a £3 million bid for the Colombian international.

Per the source, Ospina will join on a four-year deal once completing his medical next week.

Ospina has made no secret of his desire to leave in pursuit of first team football but we are talking about an experienced international keeper with two FA Cup trophies under his belt and a wealth of European competition football.

We took a look at how Arsenal fans reacted to reports that Ospina could be leaving for as little as £3 million on social media.

Understandably not everyone was over the moon with the transfer story.

Not everyone was up in arms about the fee or selling Ospina. After-all he was a second choice keeper with just over 12 months remaining on his contract. If the Gunners do not sell him over the summer he could end up leaving as a free agent.
