“Why is he running” – Arsenal fans rage on social media following club’s tweet about Mesut Ozil

Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil celebrated his 29th Birthday today. The Gunners took the opportunity to send a message to their star playmaker’s special day.

The Germany international returned from a knee injury over the weekend and came off the bench to replace Danny Welbeck during the Gunners 2-1 defeat to Watford FC.

Ozil missed a guilt edged chance in the second half to double his sides lead and has been blamed by Robbie Savage for the defeat.

Arsenal posted a gif of their star playmaker celebrating a goal on a bright yellow background. However, the tweet did not go down with Arsenal fans the morning after their club’s defeat to Watford.
