Wigan v Man City – Confirmed lineups – Guardiola fields strong starting XI for FA Clash

Manchester City will be looking to maintain their winning run of games when they take on Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup tonight.

The clash will take place at the DW Stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 19:55 (GMT).

A win tonight will carry Pep Guardiola’s side to the quarter-finals of the cup competition. City will need a victory if they are to maintain their pursuit of an unprecedented quadruple this season.

The two sides met five years ago in the FA Cup final with the Latics lifting the trophy following a last-minute goal.

City will be without Nicolas Otamendi. The star defender is  being rested for the mid-week clash.

Guardiola has opted to field a strong starting eleven with Aguero, Gundogan, David Silva on Sane all included.
