Wolves have made a late move for Fenerbahce star midfielder Josef de Souza.
The Brazil international has been closely linked with a move away from the Yellow Canaries after entering the final 12 months of his contract. Fenerbahce are keen to cash in on the midfielder rather than lose him for free next summer.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Milliyet, Wolves have tabled a £9 million bid for De Souza. The newly promoted Premier League side are hoping to get the deal over the line before the transfer window slams shut tonight.
Milliyet goes onto state that Fenerbahce officials are expected to accept the offer.
The Istanbul giants are being closely monitored by UEFA for Financial Fair Play this season and need to ensure that they balance the books.
Crystal Palace have also been linked with a move for De Souza in recent weeks.
De Souza provided two assists and scored three goals in 33 appearances for Fenerbahce last season.
