Yanal – ‘Do not let the 9-0 scoreline deceive you’ [divider]

Trabzonspor manager Ersun Yanal urged his players not to get too carried away following their 9-0 win over Manisaspor in the Turkish Cup.

“This was an important game for us but we still are not through to the next round,” Yanal said.

“We need to win our next games and guarantee our place in the next round or this scoreline would have been pointless. 

“I was impressed with the way the players are adapting to our new team philosophy. 

“The score was not that important to me it was the manner in which we played.

“But do not let the scoreline deceive you we still have a lot of work to do. 

“We need to work on our system and playing football our way.

“These types of score lines happen once in a while, in the grander scheme of things they are not that important.”

Trabzonspor moved into first place in Group B with five points following their emphatic win.
