Yanal – ‘You cannot even compare Emenike to Cardozo’ [divider]
Trabzonspor manager Ersun Yanal has been heaping praise on Oscar Cardozo following a string of impressive performances.
Yanal led Fenerbahçe to the league title by a nine point margin last season and believes his former striker Emmanuel Emenike cannot even be compared to the Cardozo according to Turkish newspaper, Milliyet,
“Can you really compare Emenike with Cardozo? They are both great players but as a striker, as a finish Cardozo is on another level,” Yanal told Turkish newspaper Milliyet.
Cardozo has scored a goal every 74 minutes this season, the Paraguayan international has eight Süper Lig goals in six starts, only Gekas has a higher tally (9).
The Paraguayan international joined Trabzonspor from Benfica on a €5 million move this summer on a three-year deal.
Cardozo had 165 goals in 287 appearances for the Portugeuse giants.
