‘You are the player for my life’ – Turkish celebrities urge Chelsea star to join Besiktas on social media
Chelsea star Diego Costa has had his social media accounts flooded by Besiktas fans urging him to join the club.
The Spanish international received over two million comments, most with the same message: “Come to Besiktas”.
The fans have been joined by celebrities in putting pressure in the striker to consider the transfer.
Everyone from music stars to former managers and current players got involved.

Turkish singer Murat Boz urged Diego to make the move to Besiktas.
Former Besiktas manager Sinan Engin wrote: “Come to Besiktas lad, come and enjoy lift, enjoy the atmosphere and the stadium.”
Pop superstar Mustafa Sandal even sung Costa a few verses, called him the ‘player of his life’ and urged him to join.

Even Besiktas midfielder Toglay Arslan got in on the act and stated that the campaign shows just how influential the fanbase are.

Turkish rapper Ceza meanwhile took the ‘Come to Besiktas’ tag to a whole new level and called Donald Trump to join the team.
