Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Yusuf Yazici has revealed that he wants to leave the club and represent them in Europe.
TRT Spor report that Lille have increased their offer for Yazici to €15m and have included a 10 percent future sale clause.
Yazici was quoted as saying that he dreams of playing in Europe and that he will continue to represent Trabzonspor if he does.
“I have dreams and one of them is as a Trabzon native and Trabzonspor fan to represent my club and city in Europe,” he was quoted as saying.
Yazici was born in Trabzon and rose through the Trabzonspor youth ranks before breaking into the first team and establishing himself as a Super Lig star.
The 22-year-old is widely regarded as one of the brightest talents in the Super Lig and has been linked with a move to several top-five league – Serie A, Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga – clubs.
Lille have targeted Turkish players in the transfer market recently. The Ligue 1 outfit signed Mehmet Zeki Celik from Istanbulspor on a €2.5m move last summer and also signed 15-year-old wonder kid Ferhat Cogalan from Valencia.
Celik went onto become an important signing for Lille establishing himself as a first-team star.
