Galatasaray fans created an intense atmosphere after agreeing to put down their phones for 90 minutes and give their full attention to supporting the team.
Zaha was full of praise for the fans on the night and described the atmosphere as being electric and giving the motivation to keep going ‘no matter the score’.
United led twice by a two goal scoreline in the game going 2-0 and 3-1 ahead at different stages of the game but the Lions managed to fight back and forced a 3-3 draw.
Zaha’s performance was particularly impressive given that he was up against his former teammate, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The draw leaves Galatasaray with qualification in their own hands heading into the final game with a victory against Copenhagen ensuring progression to the next round.
The Lions take on Copenhagen away from home in their match day 6 clash.
United meanwhile, have to beat Bayern Munich and rely on other results going their way to have any chance of making it to the next round of the Champions League.
