Wilfried Zaha netted both goals for Galatasaray, the opening goal was his first from from outside the penalty area since August 2022 against Brentford.

Zaha also made more successful dribbles in the first half than any other Galatasaray player this season. In total Zaha made six successful dribbles over the course of the 90 minutes.
The Ivory Coast international was named man of the match and celebrated after the game by bringing his son onto the pitch and leading chants with the home fans.
Zaha joined the Lions on a free transfer after leaving Crystal Palace as a free agent this summer.
The 30-year-old winger four goals and one assist in 12 appearances in all competitions this season.
Galatasaray became the first team in the history of the Süper Lig to not concede a first-half goal in the first 11 matches of a season. A record that stood for 44 years.
Galatasaray have 10 wins and 1 draw in 11 matches this term and moved into first place in the league as a result of the victory. However, rivals Fenerbahce can move back into first place with a win over the weekend.
