Ziyech Scores Again as Galatasaray Beat Pendikspor

Galatasaray beat Pendikspor 2-0 away from home in the Super Lig on Saturday to stay on top of the table.

The first half ended in a goalless draw but Cedric Bakambu stepped up in the second half to put the visitors ahead.

The striker replaced Sergio Oliveira on 60 minutes and scored just five minutes later. Hakim Ziyech went on to double his sides lead on 82 minutes.

Ziyech was the star of the show in the 3-3 draw agaisnt Manchester United in the Champions League scoring and providing two assists.

The Morocco international was the star of the show again versus Pendikspor putting on a man of the match display and adding to his goal tally.

The 30-year-old now has four goals and two assists in 11 appearances for Galatasaray in all competitions this season including three goals, two assists and two man of the match displays in his last two games.

In the other Super Lig games Besiktas drew 1-1 away to Ankaragucu continuing their slump and are now 11 points behind Galatasaray.

Trabzonspor meanwhile slipped up losing 1-0 at home to Kayserispor. Kayserispor ended up moving into 4th place in the process and Adana Demirspor also lost 3-2 at home against Samsunspor which resulted in Patrick Kluivert being sacked.

Fenerbahce could close the gap with leaders Galatasaray to just goal difference if they win tonight against Sivasspor.
