Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed whether Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny will face Liverpool in their opening game of the Premier League season.

The French tactician told reporters after Arsenal’s 8-0 win over Viking FK that the trio will miss Liverpool clash next weekend.

“The Liverpool game will come too early for them,” Wenger was quoted as saying by the Mirror.

Ozil has been enjoying a relaxing break in Los Angles and has been pictured numerous times in famous night clubs.

Wenger told Arsenal’s official website that Ozil will begin training next week. The Germany international has been given an extended summer break after featuring in Euro 2016.

However, Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez also participated in international competitions over the summer but returned to training earlier this week.

Ozil provided 19 assists for Arsenal last season and was just one assist away from equalling Thierry Henry’s record of 20 assists in a single season.
