Arsenal star Mesut Özil won his third trophy of the summer following the 1-0 victory over Chelsea to win the Community Shield.
The 26-year-old had already won the Barclays Asia Trophy and the Emirates cup before the Gunners latest addition to the silverware cabinet.
Özil played 81 minutes in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over rivals Chelsea. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the game’s only goal in a close encounter at Wembley. The victory is the first time Arsène Wenger has beaten José Mourinho in 14 attempts.
The Germany international received a rating of 6.46 from whoscored.com. Özil made three key passes and maintained a passing accuracy of 81%.
Özil has been tipped to have his best season since joining the club by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and has impressed during pre-season.
