Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has taken to social media to announce the start of his summer holiday.
The Germany international posted a picture of himself alongside his dog Balboa on Instagram. Özil included the following caption, “time for few weeks of relaxation #holidays #enjoy #summer #LaFamilia.”
Özil played a staring role in Germany’s 7-0 victory over Gibraltar on Saturday evening. The Arsenal start set up three goals and received a rating of 10.0 from whoscored.com for his performance in the Euro 2016 qualification game.
