Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has stated that Mesut Ozil can still improve his game.
Lehmann went onto state that every player can and should be working on their game until the day they retire.
“He can definitely do that but now he must prove it. You need to know how to think and how to programme yourself,” Lehmann told The Sun (via Mirror).
“Of course he can improve. You can’t get better on the day that you retire from football – but you can every day before that.”
Özil ended the 2014-15 season with his second consecutive FA Cup title. The Germany international joined Arsenal for a club record £42.5 million from Real Madrid back in 2013.
