Arsenal star Mesut Ozil congratulates Germany women's on their win over France

Mesut Özil has taken to Twitter to congratulate the Germany women’s national team on their win over France in the 2015 Women’s World Cup.

Two-time World Cup winners Germany defeated France 5-4 on penalties to set up a semi-final clash against the United States.

The Germans scored all five of their spot-kicks before goalkeeper Angerer got down well to keep out Lavogez’s attempt.
