Arsenal beat Aston Villa 2-0 at Villa Park to temporarily move into first place in the Premier League.

Gunners star Mesut Özil was in great form yet again and provided Aaron Ramsey with the assist for the second goal.

Football pundit Niall Quinn was on commentating duty for the game that was broadcasted on Sky Sports and was full of praise for Özil describing the World Cup winner as being a ‘pleasure to watch.’

“He has been terrific again today especially general touches and creativity he is a pleasure to watch these days,” Niall Quinn.

Özil has received widespread praise for his performances this season in stark contrast to last season when his languid style and perceived lack of hard work was severely criticised.

The 27-year-old has won back-to-back Vitality Arsenal Play of the Month awards over the last two months and played a key role in the north London based side reaching the Champions League Last 16 for the 15th consecutive season.

The World Cup winner has 13 assists in 15 Premier League games this season which is by far the best record in domestic English football.
