Arsenal star Mesut Ozil makes most key passes during Crystal Palace draw

Arsenal star Arsenal v Chelsea

Mesut Ozil played a staring role for Arsenal during their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace yesterday afternoon.

The 27-year-old made a total of eight key passes, five more than any other player on the field.

Ozil received a rating of 7.7 from WhoScored for his performance. The Germany international may feel let down by his teammates who were unable to convert his passes into goals or goalscoring opportunities.

The former Real Madrid man had a passing accuracy of 88%, took 108 touches and made 93 passes.

Ozil has provided the highest number of assists in the Premier League this season (19). The 27-year-old would have had more assists to his name had it not been for the profligacy of his teammates. Ozil has created the most chances in the league (122) but Arsenal have the lowest goal record in the top four.

Arsenal take on West Brom next weekend in the Premier League.
