Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil has refused to rule out a return to the Bundesliga during a question and answers session on Twitter.

The 27-year-old stated that ‘you never know’ when asked about a potential move back to Germany.

The Metro newspaper state that Ozil has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Barcelona recent months.

Ozil was also voted Player of the Season for his efforts but his club were unable to lift a trophy. The European Championships remain the only trophy the 27-year-old will be able to lift this season.

The Arsenal playmaker won the World Cup with Germany in Brazil back in 2014. Ozil has had a terrific season at Arsenal providing the highest number of assists in the Premier League (19).

Germany take on Hungary tonight in their final friendly encounter before Euro 2016.
