Arsenal star could be set for shock return to Spain after being contacted by La Liga club
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil could be set for a shock return to Spain after being contacted by Atletico Madrid according to the Sun.
Per the source, Atleti boss Diego Simeone is willing for offer Ozil a deal of around £200,000 a-week with a signing on fee as a free agent at the end of the season.
The Atleti boss is reported to have made contact with Ozil.

Atleti are planning for the event of Manchester United signing star midfielder Saul Niguez and have the Arsenal man down as a potential replacement.
The playmaker has under 12 months remaining on his current contract but has yet to sign a new deal.
Ozil has reportedly asked the Gunners for a £330,000 a-week deal but has yet to strike a deal.
The 29-year-old is no stranger to Spanish football having played for Real Madrid before joining the Gunners.
The playmaker of Turkish origin has scored 33 times and provided 44 assists since joining Arsenal in 2013.
Ozil has won three FA Cup trophies since joining the North London based outfit.
