Barcelona put five past Sporting Gijon to move into second place in the La Liga on 13 points just one point behind Real Madrid.
Arda Turan filled in for Lionel Messi who is out for three weeks with a groin injury and ended up providing an assist for Luis Suarez’s opener and scored his fourth goal of the season as well.

Oh and he can pass! Turan completed 96 percent of his attempted 68 passes which makes for very impressive reading. The Turkish international also completed all five of his attempted long balls and scored with his only shot on target.
