Arda Turan became the first Turkish intentional to win the La Liga title for the second time when Barcelona won the championship over the weekend.

Turan became the first Turkish international to lift the La Liga trophy back in 2014 with Atletico Madrid and broke his own record over the weekend.

The 29-year-old winger has become the most successful Turkish international in terms of trophies won. Turan has won every domestic Spanish and Turkish title as well as the Europa League, European Super Cup and was part of the Atletico Madrid side that won the Champions League.

Barcelona celebrated winning the title in the streets of the city yesterday after touring their local town on the team bus.

Turan was also spotted with the trophy on the team bus.

Turan joined Barcelona from Atleti last season but had to wait six-months to make his debut due to the FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club which was lifted in January.
