Beşiktaş have released a statement denying making HSV midfielder Van der Vaart an offer.
The Black Eagles were reported to have put forward a deal worth €3.5 million per-season to secure Van der Vaart who will be a free agent in the summer.
The statement read: “Beşiktaş are not in talks and have not contacted Van der Vaart.”
The report linking the Istanbul giants with HSV was published in the Fanatik today. The article also claims that Bursaspor, Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe have all made offers.
Van der Vaart has also been closely linked with Celtic, Stoke City and a move to the MLS.
The 32-year-old has a lot of experience playing top level European football having played for Ajax, Hamburg, Real Madrid and Tottenham.
The Netherlands international returned to HSV for a second time in 2012 from Premier League outfit Tottenham.
The German side are currently in danger of getting relegated and sit third bottom of the Bundesliga table.
