Beşiktaş have joined the race for Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson according to Fanatik.
The Black Eagles will be able to sign Johnson on a free transfer if they agree personal terms with the former England international.
Johsnson recently revealed that he will leave at the end of the season.
“I expect to leave at the end of the season, I have no contract,” Johnson was quoted as saying by the Daily Star
“I don’t think that will change but we have to wait and see.
“I have always been professional, always wanted to play and that’s still what I’m doing.
“I’ve got four more games and then let’s see what we do in the summer.”
Johnson has also been linked with a move to Süper Lig rivals Galatasaray according to the Daily Star.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and Liverpool have not offered a new deal.
The England international joined Liverpool from Portsmouth for £10 million in 2009.
Beşiktaş finished the league season in third place and will play in the Europa League next season. The Istanbul giants currently do not have a manger following the resignation of Slaven Bilic.
