Chelsea green light defender transfer in January after receiving Fenerbahce offer

Chelsea have given Kenedy the green light to leave over the winter transfer window on a loan move according to the Sabah newspaper.

Per the source, Fenerbahce want Kenendy on a temporary move with a future buyout clause.

The Yellow Canaries have had the Brazilian full-back on their shortlist for the past season.

The Istanbul giants have made signing a full-back a priority in January.

Kenedy has struggled for playing time under the stewardship of Antonio Conte this season making just three appearances in all competitions.

The 21-year-old has yet to feature in the Premier League or in the Champions League this season.

The Brazil U23 international does have another three-years remaining on his contract and Chelsea are not keen on losing him on a permanent deal.

Kenedy joined the Blues on an €8 million move from Fluminense in 2015 and has a total of 15 Premier League appearances since the transfer.

Fenerbahce would be the young full-back’s second loan move since joining Chelsea.

Kenedy moved to Watford on loan last season but played just once for the Premier League outfit.
