Chelsea official left impressed after travelling to Turkey for Besiktas midfielder
Chelsea goalkeeper coach Christophe Lollichon and – loan player technical coach – Eddie Newton travelled to Turkey over the weekend to keep tabs on Altinordu goalkeeper Berke Ozer.
The Chelsea officials monitored the Izmir based outfit, inspecting the youth academy setup.
Lollichon and Newton also watched the Istanbul derby between Besiktas and Galatasaray on Saturday.

Turkish scout Koray Palaz accompanied the Chelsea officials and revealed that they kept tabs on Besiktas star Tolgay Arslan.
“They were impressed with Tolgay, he is a great team player and has character,” Palaz said.
Besiktas ended up winning the derby 3-0 with goals from Cenk Tosun, Dusko Tosic and Alvaro Negreo.
Arslan was born in Germany making him eligible to play in the Premier League without a work permit.
The Istanbul giants have been in great form over the past two seasons winning back to back league titles.
Arslan has not travelled with the squad to Germany ahead of the Champions League Match Day 6 clash against Red Bull Leipzig.
Head coach Senol Gunes has decided to rest Arslan as Besiktas have already secured a first place finish in Group G.
The midfielder recently signed a new Besiktas deal and has made 20 appearances in all competitions this season.
