Chelsea star responds to reports that he has been signed by Fenerbahce following parody account claims

Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi may have competition as far as being the banter king at Stamford Bridge is concerned.

Blues striker Alvaro Morata responded to claims by a Fenerbahce parody Instagram account that he had signed for the Istanbul giants.

Morata was spotted sporting a Photoshopped image of himself holding up another team’s shirt with the Fenerbahce badge on clearly visible.

The shirt actually to the Fuetnerbahce Sports Society – a football team connected to the University of Alicante.

We haven’t quite figured out why Fuetnerbahce parody themselves on Turkish giants Fenerbahce but they do.

They tagged Morata on the photo and wrote in the caption that he signed for the club on a five-year deal.

Anyway, they tagged Morata on the Instagram photo and claimed that he’d signed for their club on a five-year deal.

Despite having just 125 followers Morata decided to respond to the parody club.

Morata replied: “Thank you guys, it was my dream since I was little.”

The Spanish striker has nine goals in 17 games for the Blues since joining from Real Madrid over the summer.
