Dirk Kuyt linked with move back to Feyenoord [divider]

Fenerbahçe winger Dirk Kuyt has been linked with a return to Feyenoord at the end of the season according to Rotterdam-based newspaper Algemeen Dagblad (AD).

Kuyt spent three seasons at Feyenoord, scoring 71 goals in 101 games, becoming a fan favourite at the Rotterdam based club.

The hard working forward’s contract with Fenerbahçe runs out at the end of the season and he is free to talk directly with other clubs.

Southampton and West Ham have also been closely linked with the 34-year-old winger.

The former Netherlands international joined the Yellow Canaries from Liverpool in 2012 for €1 million.

Kuyt scored 71 times in 285 matches for the Reds and 24 goals in 104 international appearances for the Netherlands.

The 34-year-old now has four goals and two assists in all competitions this season.

Feyenoord dropped into fourth place in the Eredivisie following their 3-1 loss away to Heerenveen.

Fenerbahçe are currently first in the Süper Lig on 41 points after 18 games.
