Alexis Sanchez Move To Man United Could Trigger West Ham Striker Transfer To Turkey

Alexis Sanchez is expected to complete his move to Manchester United from Arsenal imminently after undergoing a medical yesterday at Carrington.

Sky Sports report that a straight swap deal between United and Arsenal, for Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan is nearing completion.

United made a preliminary inquiry for three forwards over the winter transfer window according to the Telegraph.

Per the source, the Red Devils are keen on strengthening their options up front and have their eye on Javier Hernandez, Jamie Vardy and Alexis Sanchez.

Reports of Sanchez being on the verge of joining United will come as music to the ears of Besiktas.

With the Red Devils having landed their target it could leave Besiktas as favourites to land Hernandez.

A source close to Besiktas meanwhile revealed to Turkish-Football that the club have sent a delegation of club officials to London.

The Istanbul are set to hold several round of talks with the representatives of players on their shortlist, Hernandez.

The reigning Super Lig champions have made replacing Cenk Tosun – who joined Everton recently – a priority.

Besiktas are able to offer lucrative terms for a first-team role in a side that will play Champions League football and be involved in a title race.

Hernandes faces an uncertain future at West Ham following the appointment of David Moyes.

Chicharito scored just moments after Bournemouth scored in the 71st minute but was only brought on in the 63rd minute because Manuel Lanzini suffered a hamstring injury.

Moyes confirmed interest in the Mexico international and revealed that as far as he knows there has been no offer.

“Well, there’s speculation about Chicharito. But there’s been speculation about Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho … about every man and their dog here really,” Moyes said after Saturday’s match.

“I always say to players, they’ll get their chance and it’s up to them to take it. Chicharito has played some games, he’s come on and made a difference — and he can do that. You can’t question his quality. Will he definitely stay? I’d like to think so, money will always be a talker but as far as I know nobody has made an offer. If we can get him good enough service he can be a penalty-box player.”

Hernandez also fell out of favor with Moyes when he took charge of United in the 2013-14 season.
