Everton transfer news: £27m summer signing flop linked with Goodison Park exit

Turkish Super League giants Fenerbahce are set to step up their interest in Everton summer signing Davy Klaassen.

The Yellow Canaries are planning to bolster their squad in January as they look to make a push for the league title.

Aykut Kocaman’s side got off to a poor star to the season however, three victories in a row has seen Fenerbahce move up to third place.

The Turkish outlet Fotomac state that Fenerbahce are set to table a loan bid for the Everton star. Per the source, talks between the two clubs have yet to commence.

Fotomac goes onto state that Fenerbahce have asked Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen to help convince Klaassen to make the move. Janssen is currently on a season-long loan with Fenerbahce.

Klaassen made the move to Everton for an eye watering £27 million over the summer. The former Ajax captain has made just four Premier League appearances for Everton this season.
