Klopp decided to start with Emre Can in central midfield and the young midfielder put on a hard-working display closing down the opposition and making important challenges.
Can also contributed to attacking moves and made darting runs from deep taking on opposition defenders in fact he made the highest number of dribbles for his side (3) according to Opta.
The Germany international will miss Liverpool’s next two Premier League games due to a suspension he picked up for receiving ten yellow cards.
