Liverpool & Everton to battle it out over Mehmet Topal

Fenerbahce are facing an uphill battle to keep Mehmet Topal at the club amid reports linking the Turkish international with a move to the Premier League.
The defensive midfielder nicknamed ‘spiderman’ has just a year remaining on his contract with the Istanbul giants and is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal.
According to DHA, Liverpool and Everton are preparing a move for the 29-year-old while Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea are also reported to be interested.
The report goes onto state that Fenerbahce are set to table a lucrative five-year contract extension for the Turkish international.
Topal provided four assists and four goals in 41 appearances for Fenerbahce in all competitions this season.

Fenerbahçe finished the league season as runners up and booked a place in the Champions League play-off stages.

The Yellow Canaries will participate in European competition for the first time in two years after serving their UEFA suspension.
