Emre Can is set to hold further negotiations with Liverpool this month regarding his future according to Sky Sports.

Per the source, the 24-year-old could remain at Anfield beyond the end of the season if a deal is reached.

The midfielder of Turkish origin will be out of contract in six-months unless he reached a new agreement.

Reports in the Italian pretty have claimed that Can has reached a pre-contract agreement with Juventus.

Speaking recently of his future, Can denied a deal with Juventus or any other club.

“My agent is looking after everything but I am here until the summer. I haven’t signed anything (with Juventus) or anyone,” said Can.

Previous talks over a Liverpool contract extension stalled over the Reds reluctance to insert a buy-out clause into any new deal.

Talks will now resume between the Premier League giants and Can’s representatives.

The midfielder remains a first-team player for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp despite rumors that he could be set for an exit.

The Germany international has started the Reds last five league games and was widely praised for his display in the 4-3 win over leaders Manhcester City last week.
