Liverpool v Burnley – Confirmed lineups – Klopp makes surprise change to starting XI

Liverpool host Burnley FC in the Premier League today. The encounter takes place at Anfield while kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.

Jurgen Klopp has made a several changes to the starting eleven which were held to a 2-2 draw by La Liga giants Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League.

England international striker Daniel Sturridge starts up front while Roberto Firmino has been moved to the left-wing.

Philippe Coutinho makes his first start of the season for Liverpool. The Brazilian playmaker came close to a move away from the club over the summer.

Emre Can has kept his place in Liverpool’s three-man midfield alongside Milner and Coutinho. Summer signing Alex Oxlade Chamberlain starts on the bench.

Dejan Loven has been ruled out with a back injury while Simon Mignolet returns in-goal for Liverpool.
