Liverpool youngster Samed Yeşil arrived in Turkey today and shared a picture on Instagram to mark the event.
Yeşil landed in Istanbul in the early hours in the morning and will travel to the holiday resort of Bodrum on the Aegean coast for a summer holiday.
The 21-year-old did however, respond to questions asked regarding transfer rumours linking him with a move to Fenerbahçe.
“Talk to my agent about transfers, I am going to Bodrum,” Yeşil told DHA reporters.
Fenerbahçe are reported to be in talks with Yeşil according to Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik.
The Yellow Canaries finished the Süper Lig as runners up this season and will enter the Champions League through the playoff round.
Yeşil struggled for playing time this season due to a double cruciate ligament injury that ruled him out until the turn of the year.
The 21-year-old has since recovered and has three goals for the U21 side since his return.
The Liverpool youngster would play as a domestic player in Turkey despite being born in Germany. Like his teammate Emre Can, Yeşil is also of Turkish origin.
